The Edo State Drivers’ Institute was established by the Edo State Traffic Control and Management Agency to address the past mistakes where drivers operate on highways without adequate training, leading to road traffic accidents, wastage of man-hours, and pressure on health facilities. The Institute also conducts vision tests for trained drivers and makes appropriate recommendations.

Our Objectives

  • Improve Road Safety Culture in Edo State by using modern equipment and audio-visuals to retrain drivers.
  • Enhance Manpower Development to improve the technical skills of attendees.

Our Mission

To facilitate the retraining of attendees and motor vehicle drivers, certifying them for safety in Edo State.
