The Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA) was established with the statutory responsibility of managing traffic within Benin City and Edo State. The Edo State Electricity Regulatory Commission formulates policies, drafts, and modifies electricity bills, laws & regulations guiding the electricity market in the state.

To reduce to the barest minimum deaths, injuries, and economic losses through road traffic accidents, conflicts, and delays on roads in Edo State by employing modern traffic systems.
Superintend all traffic-related activities within Edo State,
Develop and implement traffic management strategies to enhance road safety
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve traffic infrastructure and management
Conduct regular traffic surveys and analysis to inform policy decisions
Provide timely and accurate traffic information to the public.
The presence of EDSTMA officials has not only brought sanity to the roads in Edo State but has also provided jobs for the teeming youths in the state. Standing sentry at traffic hotspots, our officials have brought a new sense of order, reducing chaos and accidents.
